Open Road Pictures presents Voorbijgangers (a.k.a. Travelers), a film by Fabian van Dongen, produced by Open Road Pictures. Voorbijgangers is a psychological drama about the dark side of man. The film consists of five segments, which ultimately tell one story. Voorbijgangers is made entirely by volunteers, with financial aid from the city of Eindhoven and several sponsors. To get Voorbijgangers as widely released as possible we can always use some extra money. E.g. to apply for international film festivals, to improve some technical aspects and to enhance the marketing of the movie. As serious cinema aficionados we’re trying to make incorruptible personal films. Films with heart and soul, humanity. The Voorbijgangers-project is connected to this ideology and is pure and idealistic. Independently making a Dutch movie that matters by gathering a group of talented and passionate people, and using their abilities in the best way possible. Their expertise and passion blossom fully, creating an effective crew and cast. Uniting forces this way we are creating a beautiful film at a high level, both artistically and practically as well as content-wise. Ultimately our greatest challenge is to make a meaningful contribution to the quality and beauty of Dutch cinema.
